The building that is home to SEE Foundation

Located in Penrith NSW, our premises are a really nice place to be.

They were designed specifically to be accessible, with:

  • Wide corridors so you have plenty of room to use your cane or be guided by someone else
  • Wide doorways so that speeding wheelchairs don’t crash! It also means that if you do use a wheelchair, you can move independently
  • Easy-to-use bathroom and toilet fittings, with plenty of room for wheelchairs
  • Plenty of toilets means no waiting. Two toilets are large and accessible, and one has a shower, just in case
  • The tables and benches in our kitchen are at different heights, so if you’re in a wheelchair you can be sure to find the right place to sit comfortably or join in an activity, and
  • The lighting is consistent throughout the building, an absolute necessity if you have a vision impairment.

We have an Exploration Room, filled with all sorts of fun things that will stimulate your senses, and which is home to two massage chairs.

We also have a Music Room full to the brim with musical equipment including a complete sound system, keyboards, drums, guitars, shakers, lagerphones, and so much more! After all, who doesn’t love a bit of karaoke?

Keen to check out our premises?

Please talk to us today about organising a time that suits – we’d love to give you the royal tour!
